What We Offer
The Employment Program of BC ensures quick and easy access to information and a flexible menu of services designed to help participants enter the workforce as quickly as possible. Our Resource Centres can provide you with support through workshops, labour market information, job boards and occasional support from our professional staff members.
Other participants may need additional supports with their work search or exploration of programs and benefits attached to Employment Insurance and Reachback eligibility, or Income Assistance. Assisted services can help participants through an exploration of their strengths and identification of possible barriers, resulting in the development of a personalized Action Plan which focuses on skill building to expedite engagement in the workforce or community.
Our professional staff members have expertise in assessments, working with barriered people, new immigrants to Canada, youth, and older workers as examples. Our services are delivered in English and French as well as a number of other languages. In the event translation services are required, this can also be arranged.
Our website currently provides links to job postings and labour market information for job seekers and employers. Social media can be an excellent tool to help with work search so follow us on twitter and stay up to date with the latest information on career fairs and other events on our Facebook page.
